Yes, I'm back. I've been away at college with my girl for the whole year, and haven't been doing much right now because she's done with college for the year. Yay!
This new music, most of you will recognize. I'm putting it up here because my cousin the cello plays it so whimsically. I wish to play whimsically some day.
The joy of new strings. The joy of being played for a good 2 1/2 hours a day. The joy. My girl spent $75 on my new set of strings and not only are they new, but they sing, and they're loud. *bliss* I have a gold e string for the first time in my life. It's a lot sweeter then my previous steel strings. Cynthia is going to be rehaired soon too! Oh the Joy.
I'm back! Presto! *cough* that's a bad pun. I must admit that my girl's punniness has worn off on me. She's been to busy as of late to type for me as I dictate. Thus the unusually long spell of not updating. Thanks to Ben for encouraging her to find the time.
She has a new teacher now, and because of this I don't think I've ever heard her work as hard. We're doing Bach and I'm in paradise. I love it all. Other than that...nothing special's happened.
Peace, quiet, sleep, rest. These are all things I've experianced this past week. My girl hasn't practiced with me once this week and I've been catching up on all my lost sleep. I'm so very glad it's all over. However, Hana's just gotten the music for Raspberry Ridge in the mail and I'm sure she'll play with me today. I'm going to see about putting new music up.
